Santiago, Chile - In Farellones, the BYD YUAN PRO was unveiled as the ninth BYD Auto launch in Chile, adding to the brand's lineup in the country. This new model from the world's top-selling electric car brand boasts a range of up to 380 kilometers (NEDC), a modern design, and comprehensive safety and technology features.

The BYD YUAN PRO is built on the e-platform 3.0, known for its high integration, power density, and efficiency. Its advanced heat pump system can operate from -30 to 40°C, ensuring smooth performance even in cold weather.

In terms of safety, BYD YUAN PRO's body uses high-strength materials. The GL version has four airbags, while the GS version includes six airbags, ensuring occupant safety. Both versions come standard with Cruise Control (CC) and Hill Descent Control (HDC), making driving easier and more enjoyable.

In terms of colors, BYD YUAN PRO in Chile is available in three options: gray, white, and green, charging 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Inside, it has six-way electric front seats, speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch instrument panel, and, depending on the version, a 10.1" and 12.8" rotating central infotainment screen. Additionally, the 360° panoramic camera and precise parking radar make parking effortless.

Another feature is the Smart NFC, a card that replaces the key. “It offers a comfortable and modern experience for the user, simplifying access to their vehicle safely and setting a new standard for smart mobility connectivity. It is like a credit card that can be kept in your wallet, but from BYD and configured for each model,” said Garcés.
