Bangkok, Thailand - On November 30, the 39th Thailand International Motor Expo had its grand opening in Bangkok. On the first day (Press Day) of the expo, BYD’s exhibition highlighted BYD ATTO 3, its first passenger car model for the Thai market. BYD also presented its two flagship models (Tang EV and Han EV) and unveiled four best-selling models (Qin Plus DM-i, Song Plus DM-i, BYD Dolphin and BYD Seal). The lineup attracted great attention from media correspondents and visitors and fully demonstrated BYD’s rich product matrix and market-leading technological innovations to the Thai media and consumers.

Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, said, "Over the past few months, after announcing its entry into Thailand, BYD signed a land purchase agreement with the WHA and announced the construction of its first overseas passenger vehicle plant. In November, BYD officially started sales of BYD ATTO 3. These quick moves show that BYD is well on its way to taking root and thriving in the Thai market."

The 13-day expo will attract more than 1 million visitors. BYD's exhibition area has the largest booth space and is located in the center of the entire venue. As the Thai automotive industry begins to undergo radical changes, the government introduces policies to facilitate the transformation of its EV sector. With years of technological research and development and a deep insight into the future of the automotive industry, BYD has been leading the new energy vehicle market. In the second half of the year, BYD ATTO 3 went to the market and became very popular in Thailand, which is a testament to BYD's persistence in cultivating its product strength.
